on 28 September 2021

The Romanian Space Agency (ROSA) invites you to join the 2021 FAI’s World Championships for Space Models, Senior and Junior, an event organised by the Romanian Modelling Federation in cooperation with the City Council of Buzău and the Buzau Space Modelling Association. The championship will take place between 2 October and 8 October 2021, in Buzău, Romania.

The 2021 FAI’s World Championships for Space Models, Senior and Junior will take place at the same field that was used for most of the International Championships held in Buzau and also for all internal space models events in the last 10 years. The field is very well known among Space Models flyers and is situated 10 km away from Buzau, on the road from Buzau to Bucharest. National teams from 18 countries including Romania will join the competition.

Event participants will have the opportunity to watch the current international space models champions for each category. Each day from 3 to 7 October, children are also invited to take part in educational workshops.

The event will be opened by ROSA President and CEO — Dr. Phys. Marius-Ioan Piso and Dr. Eng. cosmonaut Dumitru-Dorin Prunariu, ROSA honorary president.
