The event aims to promote the participation of the New Member States in the aeronautic research theme within FP7, support the MS in identifying potential partners for future cooperation and the exchange of information for stimulating partnership in research projects in this area.
The event is open to participation from the full range of stakeholders, i.e. industry, including SMEs, research institutes/laboratories, universities, decision makers, end-users, governmental representatives, professionals from all over EU Member and Associated States to the FP7.
During the event there will be a Session III – brokerage event dedicated to presentations from organizations that intend to participate in the second call for aeronautics, basically the ones having project ideas or proposals in preparations and are looking for consortia. Participation is free of charge.
The event is scheduled to take place on 21st of February 2008 in Bucharest, from 9H00 to 17H00 at the Romanian
Academy’s Library, ‘Ion Heliade Radulescu’ Amphitheatre, 125 Calea Victoriei Str., Bucharest

Comitetul ONU pentru Utilizari Pasnice ale Spatiului Extraatmosferic (COPUOS) s-a intrunit la Viena in perioada 3 - 12 iunie 2009. Delegatia Romaniei, condusa de dl. Marius-Ioan Piso, presedintele Agentiei Spatiale Romane, a avut in componenta experti pentru problematicile din agenda de interes pentru Romania.
Presedintele Agentiei Spatiale Romane, dl. Marius-Ioan Piso si doamna Mazlan Othman, directorul Oficiului ONU pentru probleme spatiale, au semnat astazi 4 iunie 2009 la Viena un Acord de cooperare privind infiintarea la Bucuresti a unui Oficiu regional al sistemului SPIDER.
