UN adopted the Space2030 Agenda, proposed during Romanian chairpersonship of COPUOS

on 28 October 2021

Monday, 25 October 2021 the 76th General Assembly of the United Nations discussed and adopted the resolution the “Space2030” Agenda. The resolution was brought forward by the UN Committee on the Peaceful Use of Outer Space (COPUOS), chaired by Dr. Phys. Marius-Ioan Piso, president of the Romanian Space Agency (ROSA).

The current version of the Space2030 Agenda is the result of three years of negotiations in the Member States and was adopted by UN-COPUOS this year.
