The Romanian Space Agency (ROSA) invites representatives of universities, industry and SMEs from Cluj-Napoca and surrounding areas to the third informative session of a series dedicated to presenting the European Space Agency’s (ESA) Optional Programmes in the field of Earth Observation and Satellite Navigation. The event will take place on 12 December 2013 at the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Cluj-Napoca (Calea Mănăștur 3-5).

The event will have three main sections: presenting the ESA Optional Programmes on Earth Observation, presenting programmes dedicated to satellite navigation, and bilateral meetings between Romania's representatives at the ESA committees and representatives from interested organisations.

Registration for the event can be done online until 11 December 2013. Additional information can be found on the event registration web page.

Through this series of informative sessions, ROSA aims to promote the opportunities offered by ESA to the Romanian industry in order to increase the number of contracts that ESA is granting to Romania as a Member State. Such events took place so far in Iasi, Brasov, Timisoara and Craiova and future sessions are planned in Targu Mures.
