The Romanian Space Agency, as head of the National Program for Research, Development and Innovation launches the competition for research&development and innovation projects in the following sub-programs:
Strategies and policies for security and defense;
Protection against terrorism and security infrastructure;

Recognition and supervision;
Crisis management and interoperability;
Products, techniques and systems for defense and security.

2005 project competition calendar:

25 August - the launch
9 September - informative session on preparing the documentation for project proposals
15 September - deadline for submitting the expression of interest
August - 22 September - submission of project proposals
23 September - 3 October - Evaluation of project proposals
3 October - announcement of results
3 - 5 October - filing appeals
5 - 7 October - resolving appeals
7 October - announcing final results
10 - 14 October - the negotiation and signing of contracts

The informative session will be held at the Romanian Space Agency, Bucharest, Mendeleev 21-25 Street, sector 1, on Friday, 9 September, 2005, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m..
