Teachers of Biology, Chemistry or Physics in secondary or high school education in Romania are invited to register until 18 August at the course for introduction to astrobiology and space technology organised by the European Space Education Resource Office - Romania (ESERO Romania).
Between 31 August – 3 September 2015,the European Space Education Resource Office - Romania(ESERO Romania) is organising an introductory course on space activities and technologies dedicated to Mathematics and Physics teachers from the secondary or high school education system in Romania.
Florin-Cristian Lazăr, Romanian student and employee of the Romanian Space Agency (ROSA) proposed and designed the first patch model in the history of the Master of Space Studies (MSU) at the International Space University (ISU). The patch is representative for the ISU Masters Class of 2014-2015 (MSS15) where the Romanian student is enrolled in.

Students enrolled in universities from ESA member or cooperating states are invited to enter the 2015 edition of the REXUS/BEXUS (Rocket/Balloon Experiments for University Students) programme, organised by the Swedish National Space Board (SNSB) and the German Space Agency (DLR) in collaboration with the European Space Agency (ESA).
The 2015 CanSat European Competition took place last weekend in Santa Cruz Air Field in Portugal. It was an intense and exciting launch campaign for the 16 secondary school student teams.

The preselection phase of the Exo-RO National Rover Competition ended on 21 June at 23:59, ten of the fifteen registered teams being selected to participate in the final stage of the contest, which will run from June to September 2015.

Team Nexus Suceava, from the ‘Petru Rares’ National College and ‘Stefan cel Mare’ National College - Suceava, coordinated by Physics prof. Sutac Victor will represent Romania at the European CanSat competition, as a result of winning the national finals organised in Timisoara by ESERO Romania (The European Space Education Resource Office) during 3-4 April 2015. The European CanSat competition will be organised by the European Space Agency (ESA) near Lisbon, Portugal, from 25 to 28 June 2015.
12 April internationally marks the anniversary of the first flight of a man in space, Yuri Gagarin, and the first flight of a space shuttle, both events taking place on the same day, but at a distance of 20 years - 1961 and 1981. ‘Yuri’s Night’ represents a good opportunity to celebrate the achievements of mankind in space, to encourage future generations of explorers and promote the essential role of outer space in creating a better and peaceful future.
