Between 22 and 25 April 2019, nine teams of high-school students from all over Romania will participate at the finals of the 5^th National CanSat Competition. The event is organised by the Romanian Space Agency (ROSA) through ESERO Romania, a joint project of the European Space Agency (ESA) and ROSA.

The Romanian Space Agency (ROSA) is inviting Romanian MSc and PhD students studying an engineering subject to apply to the Product Assurance Awareness Training Course (PAA), organised by ESA Academy between 4 and 7 June 2019, at ESEC-Galaxia in Transinne, Belgium. The deadline for applications is 25 April 2019.

The Romanian Space Agency (ROSA) invites university students and young graduates to apply for the 43rd edition of the Alpbach Summer School that will be held from 16 to 25 July 2019 and will focus on “Geophysics from Space Using Micro- or Nano-Satellite Constellations”. The deadline for applications is 31 March 2019.

The selection of the teams that will participate in the CanSat 2019 national competition finals has been finalised. The selection process is becoming increasingly difficult from year to year, due to the ever increasing quality of the candidate teams.

The Romanian Space Agency (ROSA) invites Romanian Master or PhD students in engineering or physics to take part in one of the two upcoming Concurrent Engineering Workshops organised by ESA’s Education Office, which will take place between 12 and 15 March, and 31 April and 3 May 2019. The deadline for applications is 21 January 2019, 23:59 CET, 00:59 Romania local time.

The Romanian Space Agency (ROSA) invites medical and life sciences university students to apply to a training course being offered by ESA’s Education and Space Medicine Team that will be held between 19 and 22 March 2019. The deadline for submission of completed applications is 14 January 2019 at 23:59 p.m. CET, 00:59 Romania local time.

The Education Office of the European Space Agency (ESA) has launched a new, improved version of the website ESA Kids. The website has information about ESA’s main activities, presented in an accessible manner for young audiences.

The jury of the 2018 Exo-RO National Rover Competition has selected this year’s winners out of the teams of high school students that were selectedfor the finals. 

Agenția Spațială Română (ROSA), în sinergie cu ESERO România – Biroul European de Resurse pentru Educație Spațială, alături de organizatorii locali Universitatea de Vest din Timișoara, Banat IT și Centrul Educațional Aquapic și cu sprijinul BRD, Smithfield, STPT și A.S.K.TIM, organizează cea de-a treia ediție a competiției de rovere Exo-RO. Competiția are loc în perioada 29 noiembrie - 1 decembrie la Centrul experimental pentru copii Aquapic de la fosta Uzină de Apă Industrială din Timișoara și la Universitatea de Vest din Timișoara.

The Romanian Space Agency (ROSA) invites Romanian Master students in their final year or those who have recently graduated to apply to the 2018 Young Graduate Trainee (YGT) programme, at the European Space Agency (ESA).

The Romanian Space Agency (ROSA) invites Romanian students to participate in ESA Academy’s second Concurrent Engineering Workshop dedicated to CubeSats. The four days-long event will be organised between 15 - 18 January 2018 at the Training and Learning Centre in ESEC-Galaxia, Belgium. The deadline for applications is 26 November 2018, 23:59 CET.

Eleven teams have been selected to participate in the finals of the Exo-RO National Rover Competition, which takes place between 28 November – 2 December at Timisoara. The event is organised by the Romanian Space Agency (ROSA), in synergy with the European Space Education Resource Office (ESERO) Romania and local partners, Banat IT, the West University of Timisoara and the Educational Centre ”Aquapic".
