The Romanian Space Agency (ROSA) is inviting teams of students aged between 8 and 15 years to participate in the European Space Agency (ESA) 2019-2020 Climate Detectives school project. The challenge is to identify a local climate problem, investigate it by using satellite images, take measurements on the ground, and then propose a way to monitor or mitigate it. The deadline to register was extended until 14 November 2019.

The Romanian Space Agency (ROSA) invites Romanian students that are developing a CubeSat to register their satellite for the new edition of the “Fly Your Satellite!” programme. The submission deadline for proposals is 13 October 2019, at 23:59 CEST (14 October, 00:59 local time in Romania).

Between 8 – 11 August 2019, ESERO Romania is organising two introductory courses to space sciences for secondary school teachers (middle school and high school), at “Popasul Iancului guest house”, Marisel, Cluj County. The deadline for registration is 29 July 2019.

Between 5 – 8 August 2019, the European Space Education Resource Office – Romania (ESERO Romania) is organising an introductory course to space science. The course is addressed to primary school teachers and will take place at the “Popasul Iancului” guest house, Marisel, Cluj County. The deadline for registration is 26 July 2019.

The Romanian Space Agency (ROSA) invites Romanian university students to apply for the 2019 edition of the “Ladybird Guide to Spacecraft Operations” organised by ESA’s Education Office between 3 - 6 September, at the ESA Academy’s Training and Learning Facility in ESEC-Galaxia, Transinne, Belgium. The deadline for applications is 16 July 2019 (23:59 pm CET, 00:50 local time in Romania).

The Romanian team Bendis, coordinated by Professor and ESERO Ambassador Sandu Golcea, won the competition Moon Camp Challenge 2018-2019, in the category 13-18 years old. The event was organised by the European Space Agency (ESA), Airbus Foundation and Autodesk.
