Introductory course to space science for primary & secondary school teachers, Marisel, August 2021

Between 9-13 August 2021 the European Space Education Resource Office – Romania (ESERO Romania) is organising an introductory course to space science. The course is addressed to primary school teachers and will take place at the “Popasul Iancului” guest house, Marisel, Cluj County. The deadline for registration is 1 August 2021.

The course aims to equip participants with the necessary skills to use cosmic space as an attractive context for teaching STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics), through the fascination of space. Space exploration topics will be addressed such as space missions, landing on a comet, life in space or how you can become an astronaut.

The course is addressed to primary school teachers and schoolmasters in Romania, and this year for each course two scholarships are offered (which include accommodation and full board during the course).

Places are limited to 20 for each course, of which 18 are unfunded and two are funded by scholarships.
