The Romanian Space Agency (ROSA) invites Romanian master or PhD students to participate at a training course in standardisation, organised by the European Space Agency (ESA). The event takes place online between 28 September – 7 October 2020. The deadline for registration is 10 August 2020.
Working in the space field implies innovation and development so much so that there is no need to reinvent the wheel. By participating at this training course, students are familiarised with the basic notions of standardisation in the space field, as defined via the European Cooperation for Space Standardisation (ECSS). They will be guided by ESA experts, who will offer useful details on the importance of using standards and their impact on implementing space activities.
The course is addressed to candidates that respect the following criteria:
- are at least 18 years of age;
- are enrolled as full-time Masters or PhD students and do not graduate prior to the participation at the ESA course;
- are studying engineering
