There is a new educational resource available in the Romanian language for students in secondary school and high school: Could life survive in alien environments? - Defining environments suitable for life.
In this activity students will consider whether life found in extreme environments on Earth could survive elsewhere in the Solar System. Students will examine the characteristics of different places in the Solar System and then use fact cards of some example extremophiles to hypothesize which they think might be able to survive in the different extra-terrestrial environments.
This classroom resource is part of a set of resources developed by ESA’s Education Office in collaboration with ESERO. ESERO Romania is a join project of the European Space Agency (ESA) and the Romanian Space Agency (ROSA)
