The Romanian Space Agency (ROSA) invites secondary teachers to apply for the E-Technology Lab workshop organised by the European Space Agency (ESA) between 11-13 December 2019, in Belgium. Applications are open until 11 October 2019.
The number of places is limited and open to secondary school teachers of STEM-related subjects. Priority will be given to teachers who have never attended any ESA e-Technology Lab workshop before.
The teachers will learn how to use a range of educational technology tools such as LEGO, Astro Pi and Arduino to talk about space and create interactive and engaging activities for students. Teachers will also find out how they can make use of these educational tools to participate in ESA classroom projects with their students.
The workshop will take place at the ESA Education Training Centre at ESEC-Galaxia, located in Transinne, Belgium.
For the duration of the workshop, accommodation, catering and local transportation will be organised and supported by ESA’s Education Office. Travel expenses will be covered by ESA up to a maximum of 200€ per teacher.
