Students are invited to enrol in the 2017 edition of the “Drop Your Thesis!” programme

on 19 July 2016

The Romanian Space Agency (ROSA) invites Romanian students interested in conducting experiments in the field of microgravity to apply to the 2017 edition of the “Drop Your Thesis!” programme organised by the European Space Agency (ESA), through its Education Office.

The teams have to demonstrate the scientific and technological objectives of their experiment in order to be selected to conduct their experiment in Bremen, Germany, at the ZARM Drop Tower Facility. The deadline for submitting proposals is 9 October 2016.

Part of the travel, accommodation and hardware expenses will be covered by ESA.

A previous participant declared that the project represented an “opportunity to learn more about how a project is managed”.

The ESA Education Office is currently running other research projects dedicated to students, such as “Fly Your Thesis!”, “Spin Your Thesis!” and “REXUS/BEXUS”.
