The Romanian Space Agency (ROSA) together with the European Space Agency (ESA) organised a training course on "How to Write Successful proposals for ESA R & D activities" aimed to develop the capacity of experts and organizations in Romania to participate at the European Space Agency Programmes and successfully meet the standards imposed by it. This course was the second organized in partnership with ESA.
The course took place from January 21 to 24, 2014 in Bucharest, at the Faculty of Land Reclamation and Environmental Engineering — University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine. The event was addressed to representatives of organizations who are interested in space cooperation with ESA and European industry and consists of a series of presentations and practical activities supported by, and under the guidance of experts from technical and purchasing departments of ESA.
In order to participate, those interested were required to pre-register by sending their CV’s electronically, in English, at the e-mail address This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and confirm their availability to participate throughout the four days of the course. The CV had to contain explicit current position occupied in the company/institute and what sort of experience the person had in writing proposals to ESA. A maximum of two representatives from each organization was allowed: a technical representative, and a representative specializing in commercial/legal. The deadline for submission of CVs was 08.01.2014, 16:00. The selection of participants was based on the submitted resumes.
