On Monday, 2 September 2019, the Romanian Space Agency (ROSA) and the European Space Agency (ESA) organised an info day regarding the ESA proposal for the second phase of the optional programme for satellite navigation – Navigation Innovation and Support Programme (NAVISP). On Thursday, 18 July 2019, the Romanian Space Agency (ROSA) and the Politehnica University of Bucharest (UPB) celebrated 50 years since humankind first stepped on the Moon by unveiling a plaque dedicated to the Apollo 11 mission. The event took place at the Politehnica University of Bucharest, on the Central Library Square, in the presence of representatives from the Romanian Government, the diplomatic corps, the research and academic community, Romanian industry and civil society.

On 17 June, on behalf of the Romanian space agency (ROSA), Dr. Phys. Marius-Ioan Piso signed a joint declaration of interest for the formal launch of the activities of the Space Climate Observatory, during an official ceremony at the Paris Air Show. 24 other space agencies and four international organisations signed The Space Climate Observatory declaration in the presence of the President of France, Emmanuel Macron.
